| The Poetry Club ~ was founded by a diverse group of underclassmen. Each member of the poetry club has a love of poetry and the power of the spoken word. The poetry club is dedicated to enlightening the community at large. | The Times2 Steppers ~ was founded by Dwawna Speaks, Princess Peah, and Aleena Franklin. The steppers have come together as a group to show school spirit and become a positive force within the student body. The Times2 Steppers study hard and stomp hard. |

The Yearbook Club
Advisor: Ms. Mayer |
The connect Club Advisor: Mrs. Childress |

The Yearbook Club ~ meets weekly with advisor, Ms. Mayer, and
sometimes daily to meet deadlines. The yearbook staff learns an
innovative online program to design page layouts, write and edit
copy, and work on the overall theme and design. The club
decides on yearbook content, plans
and strategizes to improve sales, fundraise, and handle
distribution. The entire yearbook is created, submitted and proofed online. Faculty, staff, parents, and students submit the photos that capture moments and special events. |
“CONNECT” ~ a club where students come together and learn how the Word of God applies to their lives. Everyone and anyone are welcome. Snacks, chat, DVD’s, discussion, and prayer are included in our sessions. We meet every Tuesday from 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. in the conference room (Room 111).We also have prayer meetings in the conference room every morning from 7:45 – 7:50 a.m. We ask God for His hand in our school/work for that day. Again – Everyone and anyone are welcome! |
