2009-2010 Science Fair a Times² Success

Congratulations to several of the TIMES² Academy high school students for their participation in the Rhode Island State Science Fair! After the TIMES² Academy Science Fair, the following students were chosen to represent the school at the state science fair - Katie Morales, Ibis Berganza, Kyleah Benton-Edwards, Christian Durango, Shaynah Ferreira, Javellys Polanco, Sudaya Tompkins, Guicin Guzman, Dyxie Lopez, Raquel Mendez, Marisela Berrios and Ryan Fabian. All of the TIMES² Academy students who participated in the science fair demonstrated to the state that TIMES² Academy is serious about our efforts to improve science studies.

Additionally, three of our students took top honors. Ryan Fabian placed 1st in the Water Works competition for his project on “How Safe is Restaurant Ice”. Two students, sophomore Racquel Mendez and senior Christian Durango, were among the prestigious Top 10 participants in the science fair. Christian Durango will be advancing to the international round to represent TIMES² Academy, Providence and Rhode Island at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in Reno, Nevada!
