On January 27, 2010, Times² Academy will begin its Open Enrollment period with two public informational orientation meetings in the school gymnasium. Kindergarten through Grade 6 will take place at 4:00 pm and Grades 7 through 12 will be at 5:00 pm. Each meeting will explain the application and admissions process for those specific grades. Immediately following each session, the 2010 – 2011 applications will be available for distribution.

Our Open Enrollment period will extend from January 28, 2010, through March 19, 2010, for eligibility into our lotteries.

At this time, the only grade where seats will be available is Kindergarten. If you are applying for Grades 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, or 11, you are applying for a Wait List position only. Available seats in these grades are based on our current student retention. As students leave, they create opportunities for those students on our wait lists.

Our Enrollment and Wait Lists are created by lotteries. All lotteries will take place on April 7, 2010. Applicants are invited to attend the public lotteries. Applicants will be notified shortly after the lottery of their position in the school or on the Wait List for their respective grades.

Wait List Status is only good for the 2010 – 2011 academic year according to the rules and regulations of the Rhode Island League of Charter Schools. Therefore, if you child is not placed at Times² Academy the year you applied, you must reapply for subsequent years.
