Admissions for Times² Academy

Welcome and thank you for your interest in Times² Academy. Times² Academy is a City Charter School* and therefore available to Providence residents only.

Times² Academy is unique in that it is the only Kindergarten through Grade 12 charter school in the state of Rhode Island. Times² Academy offers a rigorous academic program with emphasis on engineering, math, science and technology to prepare students for college with opportunities for advanced placement and honor level classes.

If Times² Academy sounds like the kind of place you would like your child to attend, then you must follow the admission procedure. Specific instructions can be found on the application page of our web site.

All candidates for K-12 admissions must complete an application during our open enrollment period. Generally this time frame is from January through April. Please pay special attention to deadlines as they vary for different grades.

Times² Academy as a charter school is bound by the rules and regulations of the League of Charter Schools and Department of Education and therefore must fill all available seats via lottery. The lottery process is an equitable way to offer students of a variety of ethnic and economic backgrounds the opportunity to attend the school.
