engineering enrichment program in the late 1970s, Times2 Academy
has established itself as a respected and much sought-after educational
experiment and alternative for students in the central city of Providence.
The recognition of the school’s achievement in reaching the Rhode Island
Department of Education’s achievement targets and subsequently being
classified a “high performing” school comes from a culture of expectation
and perseverance.

in a short period of time, we are not where we know we can be. We have just
