To Unite, Educate, and Succeed in the areas of Engineering, Mathematics,
Science, and Technology
The
Academy has superior technology to most public schools in Rhode Island. The
Academy has a seventeen workstation library computer lab and another
instructional lab with forty workstations. Both labs access the Internet and school
network resources such as printers and user folders. Each classroom
kindergarten through twelve grade has two workstations and color network
printer for small projects
and research.
Times2 Academy has WiFi capabilities providing the same
resource access to the school's shared wireless
laptops.
Our technology instructor teaches Microsoft Office, keyboarding, and
internet safety and research skills to middle school students. Also
support is offered to high school students with their e-Portfolio projects.
The academy faculty appreciate the availability of computer technology and
effectively utilize the technology and internet resources throughout their
instruction and their students' learning process.
